   On the 24th and 25th of June of 2015 in Moscow at the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel, Dialog Management Partners held an international conference "Anti-corruption in Russia and the CIS", dedicated to complying with local and international anti-corruption legislation, reduction of anticorruption compliance risks and the fight against corruption in those companies that have a direct presence in Russia and the CIS.

   The Conference was attended by more than 70 representatives from major Russian and foreign companies from the United States, U.A.E., Belgium, Kazakhstan, France and Germany.

  The sponsors who supported the event were Hogan Lovells and Norton Rose Fulbright, whose representatives presented interesting reports. In particular, Anton Smirnov of Hogan Lovells, presented on how to properly prepare and conduct internal investigations on the facts of bribery without breaking the law. Additionally, Alexei Dudko, head of dispute resolution, from the Hogan lovells as well, presented and moderated the panel discussion where the topic of discussion was methods of building effective compliance procedures and reliable contractual relations under sanctions. Whilst, Alexey Borodak, senior councel in Norton Rose Fullbright, made a presentation on "Corruption World Cup: FIFA Case Study".

   There was a lot of interest towards the presentation made by the managing partner of Kulkov, Kolotilov & Partners, Maxim Kulkov. He made a speech about how to return assets derived from fraud, the methods and reasons for their return.

   Particularly, a presentation that was pointed out by was a councel from the Belgian office of Sidley Austin LLP, Michele Tagliaferri, who provided an interesting presentation on the trends development and applications of global anticorruption legislations.

   The topic about "The development of an employee training system as a fundamental element of the company’s anticorruption compliance program and culture" was presented by Oksana Bolotnikova, a compliance manager from Microsoft.

   Julia Novikova from GE Healthcare presented to the audience the practical aspects of business partners due diligence in modern Russia.

   Furthermore, Rostelecom duo, Asya Andreichenko and Alexey Ananichev simultaneously held an interactive master class on "successful strategies for managing conflict of interest and its interrelated elements"

  Additionally, the conference witnessed the presentations by senior and middle managers, partners from Russian and international companies, such as MTS, ABB, Uralsib, Johnson & Johnson, Petropavlovsk, Alliance Healthcare, PhosAgro, Canon, Vimpelcom, Xylem, Olympus, CMS and many others
